Europe is a continent full of towns and communities, many with airports, but few with regular air services. There are some 853 airports with scheduled flight connections in Europe plus an additional 450 Regional airports, yet just 90 of the largest hubs control over 97% of air traffic.
This is the problem.

We aim to change this because communities without good air services will struggle to attract investment and create jobs. Regional airports no longer have the critical mass of passengers required to break even and therefore risk closure. We plan to develop regional routes within Europe to satisfy the future demand for business travel.
This is the solution

The bigger airlines who survived the last economic crisis (2007/2008) were forced to streamline their organizations. They did this by phasing out smaller aircraft from their fleets, and invested instead in larger aircraft to increase capacity whilst reducing the number of take-offs and landings. Most major airlines now only operate fleets of larger aircraft, more specifically one or two types, the Airbus A320 or Boeing 737-800 both with approx. 200 seats. Most airlines have dropped many regional routes, where traffic is too low to sustain twice-daily frequency with a 200 seater aircraft, to focus on international and hub to hub flights. As a result, a multitude of unserved or underserved routes have already been, and will continue to be created.
